Join the Debate Champions Society
The Debate Champions Society is ALOUD’s leadership giving society for individuals. Individuals who were themselves debate champions and those who wish to champion debate as a youth development program are invited to support this work. Through contributions to the Annual Campaign, Debate Champions demonstrate their commitment to helping young people improve their lives and deliver their dreams through the transformative power of debate. Debate Champions Society gifts enable ALOUD:
- To provide debate and youth expression programs to increasing numbers of young people every year.
- To support program innovation and an outstanding network of local debate communities
- To enhance programs with community and curricular activities that allow students to apply their learning to life.
- To maintain excellent systems that track debate’s impact on students’ lives and promote continuous improvements in program content and delivery.

Gifts can be in the form of cash, check and appreciated securities. Qualifying gifts must be received and recognized as individual or personal foundation/fund gifts and cannot be from companies, corporations or public foundations. Matching gifts from companies do qualify toward meeting the annual membership contribution level. Table and ticket purchases for ALOUD events also count towards annual membership.
