Will Baker, Cheif Executive Officer
Will Baker, Executive Director Will was tapped for ALOUD based on his twenty years of experience in nonprofit management, debate coaching, and marketing. He was a finalist in the Ford Foundation’s Leadership for a Changing World competition and is a past winner of the Paul Slappy Award for Diversity and the Barkley Forum Award for Distinguished Service. He is listed in the Marquis Who's Who in the World. Mr. Baker is the Chief Executive Officer of the IMPACT Coalition, an educational development nonprofit organization. His work with IMPACT has received accolades in the NY Times, US News & World Report, the Nonprofit Times and the Christian Science Monitor. As head of Baker Consulting Services International, he has provided management consulting services to major foundations, corporations, United Nations agencies and nearly one hundred nonprofit organizations. He is a Past President of the Committee of Religious Non-Governmental Organizations at the United Nations and serves as the Alternate UN Representative for the International Association for Religious Freedom (IARF). Will was elected president of the Cross Examination Debate Association (CEDA), the largest intercollegiate organization sponsoring policy debate. He is a former Assembly District Leader for the 27th District in Queens. Mr. Baker serves as special consultant to the Zuckerman Forum at NYU.
Christian Anderson, Coordinator of Research and Assessment
Prior to joining ALOUD, Christian Anderson worked in various roles as an educator, community activist, housing advocate, and social researcher. Mr. Anderson received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota with concentrations in civic politics and community studies. He went on to obtain a Masters of Arts with distinction at the University of London. Mr. Anderson has worked at the Centre for Social and Evaluation Research and the Centre for Urban and Community Research - both London based - and in Minnesota at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. Through the AmeriCorps VISTA program, Christian became the Coordinator of Research and Assessment for ALOUD’s National Campaign for Civic Discourse (NCCD). Christian is working to inform the initial ideation of the campaign and create an evaluative framework that will effectively underpin future strategy.
Brian Graziano, Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Brian Graziano holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Oregon. Previously, Mr. Graziano managed a successful online reseller business utilizing supply chains connecting Overstock.com merchandise with Ebay customers. He has completed projects with the Sunshine Physically Challenged Foundation and the Salvation Army. Through the Americorps VISTA program, Brian began his service with the IMPACT Coalition as a Social Entrepreneurship Officer. He became ALOUD’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations and leads media relations efforts for ALOUD’s National Campaign for Civic Discourse.
